Aseel Women Society

Aseel Feminist Association is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that was established in 2017 by a group of young women activists in the regions of Mayo, Haj Youssef, Omdurman, Soba Al-Arid and Jabal Awliya.

The association works among the displaced, male and female refugees in areas around Khartoum and the states where there is less security and protection, providing legal services, support, psychological counseling and counselling. The association has trained and qualified cadres capable of leadership, innovation and work in areas of distress. It has an organized administrative structure and an advisory board consisting of young activists, young women and experts.

Improving the status of women by raising awareness of women’s rights and spreading legal and gender awareness to confront cases that constitute a curtailment of women’s rights in preparation for their protection
