Activating the role of women and community leaders to contribute to eliminating violence

About the Project

We find that girls and women in Sudan are the most vulnerable to violence, as many of these girls and women work in irregular professions in the capital, in the markets and in the community, and many women, girls and boys are subjected to harassment from society. The project works in the state of Khartoum specifically in (May / Dar es Salaam / Wad Al-Bashir / Haji Yusuf / Jabal Awliya) through training, educating and motivating local and women leaders in those areas in raising awareness of human rights, Sudanese laws and legislation and gender, as well as creating effective protection mechanisms and committees and tools It works to spread awareness and posses protection mechanisms that enable them to access justice and the rule of law.

1- Improving the status of women by raising awareness of rights and spreading legal and gender awareness.
2- Increasing legal awareness of Sudanese legislation and laws (Personal Status / Criminal Law)
